The DIAGNOS Malaria PF/PAN Rapid Test is a dual-antigen immunochromatographic RDT for the simultaneous detection and differential diagnosis of Plasmodium falciparum (Pf) and all other Plasmodium species (Pan) in human whole blood, delivering reliable results in 15–20 minutes with no laboratory equipment required.

What Does It Detect?

This RDT targets two key malaria biomarkers in one test:

  • HRP-2: specific to P. falciparum, the most lethal malaria species
  • pLDH: detects all Pan-malaria species (P. vivax, P. ovale, P. malariae)

This allows healthcare workers to differentiate falciparum from non-falciparum malaria in a single step, enabling faster, more targeted treatment.
